EuroGEO workshop 2022
8 December 2022. Our project coordinator, prof. Oscar Corcho, from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, is presenting our project at the 2022 EuroGEO workshop, in a joint discussion with other projects and stakeholders interested in the development of Green Deal data spaces.
At this event, prof. Oscar Corcho had the opportunity to discuss the project objectives with members from other related projects, such as FAIRiCube, S-Cube, and AD4GD (see our synergies here), which are also working towards making Earth Observation data more easily accessible and usable, hence contributing from this angle to the development of data spaces related to the Green Deal.
Some of the conversations have been around the concept of Earth data cubes, how they should be represented and used, how to make such type of data FAIR, etc.
About EuroGEO
The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) is a collaboration of more than 100 national governments, more than 100 national governments, and the European Commission. GEO envisions a time when continuous, comprehensive, and coordinated Earth observations and data will be used to guide decisions and actions for the "greater good".
