Deda Next Contributes to ISPRA’s 2024 Report on Land Consumption and Ecosystem Services through Usage Project Expertise

Deda Next, a key partner in the Usage project, proudly contributed to the 2024 edition of ISPRA’s report “Land Consumption, Territorial Dynamics, and Ecosystem Services.” Leveraging the methodologies, expertise, and experience gained through the Usage project, Deda Next played a pivotal role in this important national publication.

A notable highlight of this collaboration was the work developed through one of the project’s use cases, where Deda Next supported ISPRA in creating interactive maps on green space accessibility for 14 Italian cities. These maps provide valuable insights into urban green areas, offering a detailed snapshot of accessibility and helping to inform decision-making at multiple levels.

This report serves as a vital tool for understanding Italy’s territorial dynamics, guiding efforts to protect the country’s environmental heritage and promote sustainable practices.

Furthermore, this partnership marks a significant step toward the scalability and replicability of the Usage project’s outcomes. It also opens opportunities for future exploitation, drawing inspiration from ISPRA—a strategic institution for environmental protection in Italy.

Deda Next’s contribution underscores the potential of collaborative efforts in driving innovation and ensuring the practical application of research to support sustainable urban development.
